SUMMARY
In order to improve the quality of performance of young basketball players and increase their situational efficiency, it is necessary, in addition to basic physical conditioning, to apply and provide a large number of situational training exercises and game situations (such as games on two baskets). These training methods contribute to the development and improvement of specific situational elements of basketball performance.
The aim of this research was to determine the effects of a training model on the transformation of anthropological characteristics of junior basketball players. Special attention was given to the influence of situational training methods on the development and modification of morphological and other anthropological dimensions relevant to basketball performance.
The results indicate that the application of appropriate situational training programs can contribute to positive changes in the anthropological characteristics of junior basketball players, thereby improving their overall preparedness and game efficiency.
