SUMMARY
Researching the impact of training programs on the structure and relationships of latent anthropological dimensions, as well as on the progress of overall situational performance, i.e. efficiency in basketball, can contribute to a better understanding of the overall game and development of young female basketball players. Well-designed and properly programmed training processes can significantly contribute to the desired direction of growth and development of young athletes.
The main goal of this research was to determine the level and magnitude of changes in motor skills among young basketball players aged 13 to 15 years under the influence of an applied basketball training program.
In addition to determining the latent structure of the researched areas through factor analysis, the study aimed to establish the presence of qualitative changes resulting from the implementation of the basketball training program. The results indicate that the applied training process contributed to the transformation of motor abilities and positively influenced the development of young female basketball players.
